HeidiSQL, Navicat for MySQL, and DBeaver are probably your best bets out of the 15 options considered. 'Free' is the primary reason people pick HeidiSQL over the competition. This page is powered by a knowledgeable community that helps you make an informed decision. Just came across HeidiSQL. Any versions that will work on here? (Currently using VMWare Fusion to run it with Windows but I would like a Mac version if there is one.) Also, can you use HeidiSQL for SQLServer databases?
Heidisql For Mac Os High Sierra
HeidiSQL is a MySQL database manager that is very popular on the Windows platform. It stands out for providing a simple graphical environment to perform operations that until now have been done through commands.
Unfortunately, HeidiSQL does not have a version for Mac OS X, but not for long. Now there is jHeidi, and alternative to HeidiSQL developed in Java that aims to bring Mac OS X almost all of the features available in Windows.
Some features in jHeidi which are also found in HeidiSQL are:
-Create, update, delete database tables, feilds, or indexes.
-Window for interactive SQL queries.
-User Management.
-Browser support for MySQL.
-Management of the connection profile.
-Export to CVS, HTML, and XML.
-Import CVS.
